About The Position
Seasonal roles at Target involve various positions including Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Front of Store Attendant (Cart Attendant), Style, and Inbound (Stocking). These roles are designed to provide team members with meaningful experiences that help them build and develop skills for a career. Seasonal Specialty Sales Roles focus on providing tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising. Seasonal Service & Engagement roles are focused on guest experience, welcoming, thanking, and exceeding guest service expectations. Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales roles ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. Target believes its team members gain knowledge of guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals (department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency), and experience executing daily/weekly workloads to support business priorities and sales goals.

Responsibilities
- Act as a sales force of specialized consultants who provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket.
- Be advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
- Be experts of operations, process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor.
- Work efficiently and as a team to deliver for our guests.
- Provide service to our guests that makes them say I LOVE TARGET!
- Stocking, Setting and Selling Target products.
- Accurately handle cash register operations.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
