This role is for an On-Demand Team Member (TM) at Target, specifically in the Guest Advocate position, which can encompass cashier, general merchandise, fulfillment, food and beverage, and style departments. As an On-Demand TM, you have the flexibility to work as much or as little as you like, with a schedule that varies based on shift availability and store needs. You will not be on a posted weekly schedule but will create your own by picking up shifts via the myTime mobile scheduling app. Reliable and prompt attendance is required when you pick up a shift. Active engagement is necessary, requiring you to pick up and work shifts at least once every four weeks (minimum of four hours). You must respond to attempts to contact you regarding shift availability, or your employment may be terminated. Failure to work at least one shift within five months will result in administrative termination. Communication and the ability to work during peak business demands are critical. Upon being offered a position, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and complete a short-term structured training schedule. After training, the myTime app is used to select desired shifts. The Guest Advocate role focuses on creating an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience by welcoming, thanking, and exceeding guest expectations through guest interaction, loyalty enrollment, and store cleanliness. You will also be an advocate for both in-store and digital services, knowledgeable about capabilities that drive adoption and guest loyalty. This role empowers you to make shopping quick and easy for guests across various touchpoints, ensuring exceptional quality.
