Seasonal roles at Target involve helping families discover the joy of everyday life. These positions focus on sales, guest experience, and efficient operations. Seasonal Specialty Sales Roles involve active selling and visual merchandising. Seasonal Service & Engagement roles focus on guest interaction and exceeding expectations. Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales roles ensure products are set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. Target believes team members gain meaningful experiences and develop skills for a career through these roles, providing knowledge of guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals (department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency), and experience executing daily/weekly workloads to support business priorities and sales goals.
Requirements

- Ability to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and regular attendance necessary
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations.
- Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
- Ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
- Handle cash register operations.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
