About The Position

This is a seasonal role at Target, focusing on various guest-facing and operational aspects of the store. The position involves helping guests discover the joy of everyday life through Target's values and culture. Seasonal roles are designed to provide meaningful experiences for team members to build and develop skills for a career. This includes gaining knowledge of guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals (department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency), and experience executing daily/weekly workloads to support business priorities and sales goals.

Responsibilities

Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations.
Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
Ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
Operate cash registers accurately.
Climb up and down ladders.
Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
