About The Position
Seasonal roles at Target involve helping families discover the joy of everyday life. Seasonal roles offer opportunities to learn about guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals (department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency), and executing daily/weekly workloads to support business priorities and sales goals. The roles are not strictly Monday-Friday desk jobs, as the business is busy throughout the week, especially on weekends.
Requirements

- Ability to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and regular attendance necessary
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations.
- Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
- Ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
- Execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.
- Handle cash register operations accurately.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
