About The Position
This is a seasonal role at Target, with various positions available including Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Front of Store Attendant (Cart Attendant), Style, and Inbound (Stocking). Seasonal Specialty Sales Roles are specialized consultants who provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations. Seasonal Service & Engagement roles are advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery. Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales roles are experts of operations, process and efficiency who ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. Target believes team members have meaningful experiences that help them build and develop skills for a career. These roles can provide knowledge of guest service fundamentals, experience supporting a guest-first culture, experience in retail business fundamentals (department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency and improvement), and experience executing daily/workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

Responsibilities
- Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations.
- Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
- Ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor.
- Accurately handle cash register operations.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
