Seasonal roles at Target involve various responsibilities to ensure a positive guest experience and efficient store operations. These roles can include Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Front of Store Attendant (Cart Attendant), Style, and Inbound (Stocking). Seasonal Specialty Sales Roles are specialized consultants who provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising. Seasonal Service & Engagement roles are advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery. Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales roles are experts of operations, process, and efficiency, ensuring products are set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. Target believes team members have meaningful experiences that help them build and develop skills for a career. These roles provide knowledge of guest service fundamentals, experience supporting a guest-first culture, retail business fundamentals (department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency), and experience executing daily/weekly workloads to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

Responsibilities
- Act as a sales force of specialized consultants who provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket.
- Act as advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
- Act as experts of operations, process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor.
- Accurately handle cash register operations.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
