Seasonal roles at Target involve helping families discover the joy of everyday life through Target's values and culture. Seasonal Specialty Sales Roles focus on tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising. Seasonal Service & Engagement roles are advocates of guest experience, welcoming, thanking, and exceeding guest service expectations through guest interaction and recovery. Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales roles are experts of operations, process, and efficiency, ensuring products are set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. These roles offer opportunities to gain knowledge of guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals (department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency), and experience executing daily/weekly workloads to support business priorities and sales goals.

- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and regular attendance necessary.
Responsibilities
- Actively sell and make compelling visual merchandising presentations.
- Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations.
- Focus on guest interaction and recovery.
- Ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
- Handle cash register operations accurately.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
