About The Position
Seasonal roles at Target involve helping guests discover the joy of everyday life. This includes various specialized sales roles focusing on tailored suggestions and compelling visual merchandising, as well as service and engagement roles that focus on guest interaction and recovery. Additionally, there are roles focused on operations, process, and efficiency to ensure products are set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. Target aims to provide meaningful experiences that help team members build and develop skills for a career, offering knowledge of guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals, and experience executing daily workloads to support business priorities and sales goals.

Responsibilities
- Sales force of specialized consultants who provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket.
- Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
- Experts of operations, process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor.
- Accurately handle cash register operations.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
