About The Position
Target is seeking individuals for various seasonal roles, including Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Front of Store Attendant (Cart Attendant), Style, and Inbound (Stocking). These roles are designed to provide team members with meaningful experiences that help them build and develop skills for a career. The positions offer knowledge of guest service fundamentals, experience supporting a guest-first culture, and insights into retail business fundamentals such as department sales trends, inventory management, and process efficiency. Team members will gain experience executing daily and weekly workloads to support business priorities and achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities
- Act as a specialized consultant for sales roles, providing tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising.
- Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery for service and engagement roles.
- Ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor for general merchandise and food sales roles.
- Operate cash registers accurately.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
- Execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.
