About The Position
This is a seasonal role at Target, with various positions available including Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Front of Store Attendant (Cart Attendant), Style, and Inbound (Stocking). The starting hourly rate is $18.00 USD. Working at Target involves helping families discover the joy of everyday life through Target's values and culture. Seasonal roles include specialized sales consultants, guest experience advocates, and experts in operations and efficiency. These roles offer opportunities to gain knowledge in guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals (department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency), and experience in executing daily workloads to support business priorities and sales goals.

Responsibilities
- Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations.
- Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
- Ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
- Accurately handle cash register operations.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
