About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a bilingual Security Officer for access control and patrol duties in Puerto Rico. The officer will provide security services across a variety of industries, including factories, retail stores, shopping centers, pharmaceutical companies, and corporate campuses. Duties include customer service, carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergencies when appropriate, conducting patrols, and managing employee and visitor reception processes according to facility rules and assigned post orders. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The position is full-time with rotating schedules and weekly itineraries. Hourly pay is $10.50.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old for unarmed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Be available for rotating schedules and weekly itineraries.
• Be fluent in spoken and written Spanish and English; English is required for bilingual positions.
• Pass a background investigation, as permitted and required by applicable laws.
• Submit to drug screening, to the extent permitted by law.
• Hold a valid Puerto Rico driver's license; licensing requirements may apply before employment under state or local laws and regulations.
• Have customer service skills.
• Be available for credentialing processes and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out security and safety procedures, site-specific policies, and, when applicable, emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations and use problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Receive and direct employees and visitors in reception areas according to facility rules and assigned post orders.
