About The Position

We are seeking a professional and vigilant Guard to join our security team in Red Wing, MN. As a Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver's License
Excellent physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to climb stairs in multi-story buildings
Strong observation and communication skills
Basic computer proficiency for report writing and monitoring security systems
Ability to work in Red Wing, United States; familiarity with the local area is a plus
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure

Nice To Haves

Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred
Knowledge of security procedures and protocols preferred

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or hazardous situations
Prepare and maintain security logs, reports, and records of daily activities and incidents
Conduct regular inspections of security devices and equipment to ensure proper functioning (Boiler, Fire Safety System)
Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment
