About The Position

NX Automotive Logistics USA, Inc. is seeking a Guard Shack Specialist II to join their Team. This role is crucial for providing high-quality, innovative supply chain solutions in an environmentally and socially sustainable manner, focusing on Associate, Customer, and Community Happiness. The Operations Departments operate in a warehouse or manufacturing environment and associates are subject to moderate amounts of dust, dirt, and odors, primarily produced by packaging materials and the operation of propane-powered forklifts, as well as noise primarily produced by production equipment. Temperatures during the year will vary. Associates frequently operate a computer, read, write, and interact with others in person, over the phone, and via other devices. They move about within the facility and may travel to other locations.

Requirements

  • Possess knowledge warehousing and transportation functions.
  • Possess traits of reliability and dependability.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both written and orally.
  • Intermediate Computer skills, familiar with Microsoft 360.
  • Flexible to perform additional job functions.
  • Work additional hours, if necessary, to complete daily tasks and meet customer/business needs and demands.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a safety-first attitude following all company safety policies.
  • Participate in positive team moral.
  • Exhibit the ability to read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures defined for The Guard Shack Specialist I.
  • Manage all aspects of GPCS and C. Core as it relates to arriving trailers and all YMS functions.
  • Attend C-TPAT training and exhibit the ability to perform C-TPAT compliance 100% of the time.
  • Perform well under pressure and provide a sense of stability to the workforce.
  • Have knowledge and understanding of all NXAL company policies and procedures and always follow.
  • Have strong computer skills, respond to emails, and communicate in a timely manner.
  • Exhibit the ability to learn new software applications.
  • Complete company and department reports on time, including but not limited to department specific operational reports, incident reports, documentation for computer systems, and equipment use.
  • Report any suggestions for improvements if you see the ability to improve quality/safety within the job.
  • Report all problems or concerns immediately to leadership.
  • Follow 5s standards and keep a clean and safe working environment in specified area/department.
  • Maintains a professional demeanor to be an effective representative of NXAL with our customers, visitors, and associates.
  • Daily overtime may be required, frequently with little or no advance notice, to meet daily production requirements.
  • When necessary, this position may be required to perform other functions as required to meet our customer needs/demands.
