About The Position

Five Rivers Analytics (FRA), an Akima company is looking to hire temporary Security Guard II to join one of our current contracts. You will be providing a secure and safe work environment for employees through escorting of uncleared visitors while performing work on site projects. This is 6 days 10-hour shift work.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
U.S. Valid Driver's License
An Active Secret Security Clearance
Able to work a 10-hour shift scheduled between Monday and Saturday

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with firearms and other special weapons
Meet rigorous physical fitness standards

Responsibilities

Enforces regulations and procedures designed to prevent breaches of security, exercises judgment and uses discretion in responding to incidents and emergencies, determining whether to intervene directly, ask for assistance as time permits, keep situation under control or surveillance, or to report incident or situation to the appropriate authority for handling.
Duties require specialized training in methods and techniques of protecting controlled areas.
Secures premises and staff by monitoring persons and facilities under their purview
Inspects buildings, equipment, and access points; permits entry to job site
Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities
Informing violators of policy and procedures; reporting trespassers
Controls traffic by directing vehicle drivers and equipment operators to job site
Completes report by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
Maintains organizations stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
Contributes to Team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
