About The Position

The Enablement team translates OpenAI’s product innovation into real-world customer impact by equipping customer-facing teams with the knowledge, tools, and frameworks needed to succeed in their roles. OpenAI is hiring a GTM Onboarding Program Manager to own the operational backbone of onboarding for our global go-to-market organization. In 2026, OpenAI plans to onboard a large volume of customer-facing employees across sales, technical success, partnerships, and customer success. The onboarding program already exists — this role focuses on operating, scaling, and continuously improving the system that powers it. You will manage onboarding operations end-to-end: coordinating cohorts, aligning stakeholders, evolving program structure, and ensuring new hires ramp quickly and confidently. You will also help modernize onboarding through AI-first workflows, data-driven iteration, and scalable systems that reduce operational burden while improving the learning experience. This role is based in San Francisco and works closely with leaders across Sales, Technical Success, Product Enablement, Recruiting, and Revenue Operations.

Requirements

  • Experience owning or operating onboarding or enablement programs for customer-facing teams
  • Strong program management and organizational skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to manage complex logistics and recurring program operations
  • Willingness to work in-office in San Francisco

Responsibilities

  • Run the operational cadence of GTM onboarding programs across multiple roles and hiring cohorts
  • Translate hiring forecasts and business priorities into structured onboarding execution
  • Manage onboarding logistics including scheduling, communications, certifications, and stakeholder coordination
  • Partner with subject matter experts across Product, Sales, and Technical Success to keep onboarding current as products and messaging evolve
  • Design scalable systems and processes that support high-volume onboarding while maintaining a high-quality experience
  • Implement AI-forward approaches to onboarding operations and learner experience
  • Establish and track onboarding success metrics including participation, readiness signals, and ramp indicators
  • Continuously improve the program based on field feedback, business changes, and hiring scale
