GSRP Pre-K Associate Teacher
About The Position
The GSRP Pre-K Associate Teacher supports a high-quality, play-based classroom for 4-year-old children, helping prepare them for kindergarten and beyond. The role assists the Lead Teacher with planning and implementing daily lessons using an approved GSRP curriculum, observing and assessing children’s development with approved tools, and maintaining a safe, engaging, and organized classroom. The Associate Teacher also builds positive relationships with children and families and participates in family engagement activities, staff meetings, and required professional development. Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, or a valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with a plan to complete an associate degree.
- Ability to meet state licensing and GSRP requirements.
- Team player with a passion for early childhood education.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred.
