About The Position

As a GSOC Operator in Foster City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Monitor phones, radios, alarms, and other communication systems, then dispatch appropriate personnel to routine calls, incidents, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document calls for service, incident details, shift activity, and/or visitor or vendor information with accuracy and timely communication to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Support access control and after-hours communication needs by verifying authorized entry requests, relaying instructions, and helping to coordinate responses to unusual activity or urgent concerns.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, noting conditions that could require follow-up and reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
