As a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator, you will use open-source material to find, research, and assess information that could indicate a potential concern to the client, its employees, and its interests. You will create detailed reports of incidents using internal incident management reporting systems and assist in the response to larger incidents that impact the client and develop protocols and practices to drive efficiency and to manage crises. The GSOC operator will help to continually identify, evaluate, and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop best in class programs that drive sustainable effectiveness. To be successful in this role applicants must possess the ability to interact with all levels of corporation management, liaison internally and externally with a multitude of other departments and personnel. Strong oral communication and representational skills are required.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) experience.
Experience monitoring security technologies such as CCTV, access control systems, alarm monitoring platforms, or related security systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to write detailed incident reports with proper grammar and professionalism.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other computer-based applications.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Must be willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and maintain strict confidentiality.
Ability to interact professionally with employees, clients, vendors, emergency responders, and executive leadership.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be willing to attend training sessions that may occur outside of regularly scheduled work hours.

Responsibilities

Monitor multiple security platforms, including access control, CCTV, alarm monitoring, and other security technologies.
Receive, assess, document, and escalate security events in accordance with established procedures.
Investigate alarms and security incidents while coordinating appropriate responses with internal stakeholders and field personnel.
Create clear, accurate, and timely incident reports using internal reporting systems.
Maintain real-time situational awareness by monitoring security events and emerging risks that may impact operations.
Communicate critical information to leadership and other stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
Support emergency response activities and business continuity procedures when required.
Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assist with identifying opportunities for operational improvements.
Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive and proprietary information.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a safe and secure operating environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
