About The Position

As a Security Officer Command Center Dispatcher in Milpitas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, telephones, and/or other communication systems, then document and relay security-related information to on-site personnel, supervisors, and/or local responders as needed.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to coordinate communication and support across the location.
  • Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, helping to track routine activity, deliveries, arrivals, and/or unusual events within a logistics and distribution environment.
  • Support access control and vehicle or visitor processing by verifying information, communicating directions, and reporting concerns in accordance with site-specific policies.
