About The Position

Under the direction of the Security National Account Manager, this position will operate corporate access control systems, surveillance systems, corporate emergency phone line(s), communication systems, computer systems and other security-related equipment. Provide detailed analysis, reporting, and documentation of events, incidents and emergencies. Provide dispatch and communication support for security events, incidents, and emergencies. Serve as the central point of communication with employees, corporate security, public safety and key personnel for day-to-day operations and during events, incidents and emergencies. Perform other security-related tasks as required.

Requirements

Three years of related experience in the security industry preferred, or international equivalent required.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet requirements for specific skills, certifications or authorizations specified for the assigned site.
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
Ability to be an effective team member.
Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.
Ability to communicate with radio systems, telephone including international telephone systems.
Courteous telephone manner.
Ability to use personal computer and enter data.
Ability to access situation and use judgment in responding.
Ability to work under distracting conditions.
Alpha and numeric recognition.
Understanding of computer commands.
Ability to prioritize emergency calls and requests for services.
Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports.
Good organizational skills.

Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures.
Ability to maintain daily activity logs.
Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks, controlled substance testing, and behavioral selection survey in addition to any mandatory licensing requirements

Responsibilities

Receives and logs incoming calls for service; determines nature, location, and priority of call and contacts proper agencies for emergency response.
Handles requests from field personnel/officers for tows, ambulances, fire, special equipment or service resolution needs.
Utilize multiple systems simultaneously to maintain situational awareness.
Monitors various 3DS sites on ExacqVision (CCTV), Monitors various alarms on CCURE-9000 (Card Access), and weather data systems.
Serve as the first point of contact for remote site intrusion detection systems.
Make contact with local employees if applicable and / or request police response.
Utilize Everbridge Mass Communication Tool to send critical notifications, account for staff through polling messages, and facilitate conference bridges for the Crisis Management Team.
Monitor International SOS’ Travel Tracker to respond to serious incidents when 3DS has employees travelling in the impacted region.
Performs tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for assigned site(s).
