About The Position

The Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic C is an entry-level position. This position will be working on Non-Motorized Equipment and assisting A and B Mechanics on repairs or preventive maintenance on motorized equipment. This role plays a critical part in the continued success of the company and the safety of its team members.

Requirements

Own necessary tools to complete work assigned.
Possess/maintain a valid state driver’s license and other FAA/Airport required identification/seals or authorizations.
One to Five years related experience and/or training.
Professional and detail-oriented thought process.
Able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy items of 75 pounds or more; as well as bending standing, climbing, or walking.
Able to work various shifts, including weekends.
Must be able to work safely in an environment containing chemicals, cleaning materials, dust, and noise.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of airport Ground Service Equipment (GSE) and airport operations is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Repairing, reconditioning, and maintaining non-motorized equipment components.
Preparing and completing electronic work orders.
Maintain company equipment; to be kept in clean, orderly, and functioning condition.
Perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMI's) on Non-Motorized Equipment
Read and understand Manufacturer provided literature.
Routinely required to work under inclement weather conditions.
Promote a safe work environment, and comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
Able to meet the Station’s attendance standards.
