About The Position

As they continue to grow, they are looking for skilled GSE/Diesel Mechanics to play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing their ground service handling equipment, ensuring the reliability and safety of their operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a GSE/Diesel Mechanic (preferably in the aviation industry).
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Valid motor vehicle driver’s license for both air side/non-air side operations. (Will help obtain air side)
  • Dedication to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

  • Technical certifications or licenses are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on all ground service handling equipment, including preventative maintenance.
  • Set up, install, modify, and renovate equipment as directed.
  • Maintain comprehensive inventory records of machinery, equipment repairs, and service cycle activities.
  • Operate and drive various types of equipment, both motorized and non-motorized.
  • Execute and demonstrate competence in preventative maintenance according to established schedules.
  • Respond to on-call maintenance requests, including after-hours service calls.
  • Provide troubleshooting and diagnostic assessments of ground support equipment.
  • Modify and overhaul power plant, drive-train, brake, electric, and hydraulic systems.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, including responding to accidents involving ground support equipment and adhering to security requirements.
  • Pick up required parts and materials for maintenance and repair of ground support equipment.
  • Own and demonstrate proper use of tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Complete all maintenance and repair documentation in compliance with relevant regulations and AGI guidelines.
  • Keep the GSE shop and its equipment clean and serviceable, reporting any deficiencies to management.
  • Fuel equipment as necessary, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental requirements.
  • Liaise with Ramp management, customers, and staff in a professional manner when required.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
