The role involves diagnosing problems using test equipment and manuals, building and assembling components, and conducting repairs to ensure maximum reliability. Thorough maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of machinery components are also key responsibilities. Additionally, the GSE Mechanic will replenish fluids and components, provide consultation on maintenance and preventative measures, keep logs of work, and complete required paperwork.
