About The Position

Unifi Maintenance is seeking technicians at all skill levels to join its technical operations team. The role supports fleet reliability and operational readiness by maintaining fleet vehicles and employee shuttle buses. Depending on experience, technicians may perform work ranging from routine maintenance to independent diagnostics, major repairs, and complex troubleshooting. The position offers a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 and an hourly pay range of $26–$44, based on skills, experience, and certifications.

Requirements

Maintenance experience and knowledge of vehicle servicing.
Ability to work independently, with supervision as required.
Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Four to six years of fleet maintenance experience.
Multiple ASE certifications.
CDL Class A or B with Passenger Endorsement.
Experience with fleet maintenance following DOT standards.
Refrigeration, HVAC, or advanced electrical certifications.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical, diesel, gasoline, electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, and computerized vehicle systems.
Perform engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, and drivetrain repairs.
Use diagnostic software and testing equipment to identify vehicle faults.
Conduct detailed inspections to ensure compliance with company safety standards and DOT regulations.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to Mechanic I and Mechanic II employees.
Assist with repair planning, parts procurement, and inventory control.
Verify the quality of completed repairs and maintenance activities.
Support emergency roadside and operational repairs as required.
Recommend process improvements to increase fleet reliability and efficiency.
Perform other duties within technical capabilities and experience.
