Requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
  • Experience in manufacturing, Supply Chain or Engineering

Responsibilities

  • Executes deliverables in support of the supply chain organization's business objectives.
  • Guides of one of the key areas within the Global Supply Chain to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded in all areas including customer, quality, service, responsiveness, people, product and financial initiatives.
  • Communicates to all levels of the organization, within the function as well as other functions and suppliers.
  • Supports relationship management with logistic suppliers and service providers.
  • Understands and assesses complex supply chain issues and leads teams in a cross-functional environment to successfully resolve issues minimizing impacts to vehicle production.
  • Tracks breakpoint and build-out parts through the countdown process until actual completion dates are achieved.
  • Processes obsolete material, reviews obsolete storage areas, and maintains workplace organization standards in those areas.
  • Manages PFEP validation for new parts, including setup, maintenance of requirements, breakpoint log support, and ongoing PFEP audits and team meetings.
  • Completes inventory audits and maintains inventory management system accuracy.
  • Supports Short Lead Time elements within GMS.
  • Develops, sets up, and maintains Min/Max levels and related systems.
  • Validates and approves eSAP billing and eMSR requests.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to develop creative solutions.
  • Summarizes critical issues with resolutions and communicates to leadership.
  • Handles very complex capacity constraint issues to resolution with the goal to eliminate potential plant disruptions and reduce premium transportation.
  • Analyzes metrics supporting supplier critical issues or sufficiency plan resolution.
  • Is flexible and at times works extended and non-core hours to ensure issues are worked to resolution.
  • Problems tackles complete issues and implements new and innovative strategies.
  • Has a deep understanding of Supply Chain functions.
