About The Position

At Pinnacle Marketing Group, we build smart, intentional marketing strategies that help businesses grow, connect with their audiences, and achieve measurable results. Pinnacle Marketing Group is looking for a Growth Strategist to drive new business for our marketing agency. This role owns the sales process from prospecting through close, building relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs, and connecting them with the right creative, web, branding, and marketing solutions. The Growth Strategist works closely with the internal creative team to develop proposals and scopes of work, manages the sales pipeline through the company CRM, and represents the agency within the community and at industry events. This role guides communication and coordination through the point of sale, then hands work off cleanly to the production team, and provides ongoing feedback to leadership on client needs, market trends, and new opportunities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent education and training, in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
Experience in sales, business development, or account management
A track record of strong project outcomes and satisfied clients
Solid understanding of web design, marketing, branding, and digital strategy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency with CRM and project management tools
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Generate new leads through outreach, networking, referrals, and digital channels
Maintain a consistent, healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities
Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and community gatherings
Build the agency's presence and reputation in the local business community
Run discovery calls and presentations to understand client needs and recommend solutions
Work with the creative team to prepare accurate proposals and scopes of work
Guide prospects through the sales process to close
Position retainers and recurring engagements where they fit client needs
Manage the sales pipeline in the CRM, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate reporting
Log activities, track opportunities, and report on progress against goals
Coordinate the handoff to the production team after the point of sale
Build and maintain long-term client relationships through professional communication and follow-up
Report to leadership on client needs, market trends, and potential opportunities
Identify opportunities to expand services and deliver added value to clients
