About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Growth Program Manager to lead and coordinate strategic initiatives that support Presbyterian Healthcare Services' growth objectives. The Senior Program Manager, Growth & Strategic Initiatives is responsible for managing a portfolio of high-impact programs, including ambulatory clinic development, service line expansion, market growth initiatives, and other enterprise priorities. This role partners closely with the Chief Growth Officer (CGO), Growth leadership team, and executive stakeholders to ensure strategic priorities are translated into actionable plans and delivered successfully across the organization. This role requires exceptional program management capabilities, strong business acumen, executive-level communication skills, and the ability to align diverse stakeholders around shared objectives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can drive complex initiatives forward while balancing organizational priorities, operational considerations, and growth opportunities. This position will report to the Director of Planning & Business Development and collaborate across the CGO leadership team and executive stakeholders throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree (MBA, MHA, or related field) preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in program management, business operations, healthcare administration, strategic planning, consulting, business development, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and executive-level presentation development.
  • Proven ability to influence and lead without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity while managing multiple competing priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting healthcare growth initiatives, ambulatory development, service line expansion, or market development activities.
  • Background in healthcare strategy, consulting, business development, operations, or transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working directly with executive leadership teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic growth initiatives, including ambulatory clinic development, service line expansion, market growth efforts, and enterprise transformation projects.
  • Develop program roadmaps, charters, success criteria, KPIs, and reporting frameworks.
  • Drive alignment among executive leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful program execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including clinical operations, finance, facilities, marketing, business development, compliance, and external partners.
  • Develop and maintain program plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate executive decision-making by preparing clear analyses, options, and recommendations.
  • Support ambulatory clinic planning, development, and operational readiness activities.
  • Lead service line expansion initiatives across clinical and operational domains.
  • Track progress and ensure delivery against scope, timeline, budget, and strategic objectives.
  • Partner with leaders across the organization to advance strategic priorities and enterprise growth initiatives.
  • Facilitate collaboration among operational, clinical, financial, and business stakeholders.
  • Coordinate vendor relationships and external partnerships supporting program objectives.
  • Ensure alignment between strategic goals and execution plans.
  • Identify opportunities to improve market presence, consumer access, and organizational growth.
  • Own communication plans, executive updates, steering committee materials, and status reporting.
  • Manage expectations and decision-making across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations, briefing materials, and reports.
  • Support change management efforts that promote adoption and sustainable outcomes.
  • Translate complex information into clear, concise recommendations for leadership.
  • Identify risks early, develop mitigation plans, and escalate critical issues as needed.
  • Coordinate dependencies across business units, operational teams, and external partners.
  • Monitor initiative performance and proactively address barriers to success.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Transition completed initiatives to operational teams with clear ownership, processes, and accountability.
  • Monitor performance, outcomes, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support long-term optimization of newly launched clinics, services, and growth initiatives.
  • Ensure sustainable processes and operational readiness following implementation.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to the Chief Growth Officer on priority initiatives.
  • Support development of executive-level materials, including PowerPoint presentations, briefing decks, business cases, and decision documents for executive leadership, Board members, and external audiences.
  • Conduct research, analysis, and synthesis of complex information to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Assist in identifying and evaluating growth opportunities, market trends, and strategic priorities.
  • Provide ad hoc support on high-priority strategic projects as needed.
