It is governed by an independent Board of Directors and employs union and non-union staff, including musicians, stage crew, and administrative staff. The Detroit Symphony Orchestra is seeking a highly organized and execution-focused Growth Marketing Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of DSO concert marketing campaigns. This role works under the strategic direction of the Director of Growth Marketing and serves as a central manager for all planned and active concert campaigns to ensure their success. Key responsibilities include managing paid media buys, trafficking creative, building and managing email and social lists, daily sales tracking/reporting and data pulls, and coordinating with other managers (Direct Mail Marketing, Web, Public Relations, and Tessitura Operations) to ensure campaigns are impactful, launched on time, and maintained without interruption. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses fanatical attention to deadlines and detail, and is comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
