About The Position

The Growing Manager in the wholesale trade industry is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the cultivation and production processes to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality products. This role involves strategic planning and management of growing operations, including resource allocation, crop scheduling, and quality control. The Growing Manager collaborates closely with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to align production with market demand and company goals. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agronomy, or similar work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing growing or agricultural operations.
Strong knowledge of crop production techniques and plant health management.
Experience with resource planning and operational management in a production environment.
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards relevant to agricultural production.
Strong organizational and leadership skills daily to coordinate complex growing operations and lead teams effectively.
Analytical skills are essential for interpreting production data and making informed decisions to optimize yield and quality.
Communication skills facilitate collaboration with internal departments and external partners to align production with business objectives.
Technical knowledge of agricultural practices and technology enables the manager to implement innovative solutions and maintain crop health.
Problem-solving skills are critical for addressing challenges such as pest outbreaks, resource constraints, or scheduling conflicts to ensure smooth operations.
