About The Position

We are looking for a Grower Advisor who will act as a strategic technical leader across the Southeastern US territory, driving customer success, supporting sales teams, and contributing to innovation across the organization. This role involves advising representatives and customers on product selection and trials, supporting setup, interpreting results, and providing clear, actionable recommendations. The Grower Advisor will deliver fast, high-quality technical support, lead or assist investigations related to customer complaints, manage Certificate of Analysis (COA) follow-ups, and propose solutions that protect customer outcomes. Additionally, the role includes providing impactful training (Masterclasses, district sessions, new hire onboarding) and representing the company at industry events and technical presentations. The Grower Advisor will act as the main technical link for assigned R&D projects, translating findings into practical insights and coordinating trials with customers and universities. This position also involves sharing technical learnings and market trends internally, supporting sales meetings, contributing to complex custom mix requests (CMRs), and building strong relationships with key accounts.

Requirements

  • Degree in agronomy, horticultural sciences, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience (ideally 10+ years) in horticulture, greenhouse production, or grower support.
  • Knowledge or exposure with the fruits and vegetables market.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to remain calm and solution-oriented in challenging situations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with customers, sales teams, and internal departments.
  • Comfortable presenting at events, leading training sessions, and representing the company professionally.
