About The Position

Hartgrove Behavioral Health System and Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital seek a savvy and experienced HEALTHCARE RECRUITER to join the HR team. In this role you will be responsible for effectively and efficiently performing all related activities for the sourcing, recruiting, and interviewing and onboarding of candidates for system inpatient, outpatient and speciality programs. JOB SUMMARY: Manages the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned positions/departments, from job posting to hire, including initial assessments/screening, presentation of qualified candidates to hiring managers, interview scheduling, offer and onboarding; Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding employment; Posts assigned job openings and maintains accuracy/standards of postings in ATS; Coordinates with the HRD on salary and hourly wages for all prospective applicants; Follows up with new hires to ensure proper onboarding; Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications and meeting with managers to discuss needs; Mains accuracy of vacancies and new hire lists; Provides required weekly, monthly and qurterly reporting to HRD; Provides excellent customer experience through effective communication with candidates, hiring managers, vendors and HR Team members. Builds strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and employees to ensure Service Excellence; Attends job fairs and recruitment events to source potential candidates. Explores other potential avenues to source candidates for assigned positions. Actively participates in in-services, meetings, training and conferences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Organizational Leadership, Business, or related field required
  • Prior healthcare experience required
  • Must possess knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines concerning human resource administration in a health care setting
  • Computer literacy which includes fluency in Microsoft Office applications and strong working knowledge of an ATS
  • Fluency in the English language

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s in human resources, OLS, or related field preferred
  • Prior healthcare human resources and/or clinical recruiting experience strongly preferred
  • PHR or SPHR preferred

  • Build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and employees to bring top talent into our organization
  • Manage the recruitment process which may include initial assessments, presentation of qualified candidates to hiring managers, interviews, selection, offer and follow-up
  • Facilitate onboarding process, including reference checks, background screening, initiate and review drug screenings, hiring paperwork, DCFS screenings, IDPH Health Worker registry screenings, and Licensure screening through IDFPR
  • Provide excellent customer experience through effective communication
  • Fluency in the English language
