About The Position

Energy Worldnet (EWN) is seeking a Group Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and business outcomes of an assigned product portfolio while leading and developing a small team of Product Managers and/or Associate Product Managers. This role is ideal for a product leader who enjoys balancing strategic product ownership with coaching, mentoring, and developing product talent. The Group Product Manager operates as an AI-native product leader, fluent in modern AI tools across discovery, prototyping, narrative, analysis, and delivery, using that fluency to expand their own leverage while setting the standard for product excellence across the team. This is a hybrid role requiring regular onsite collaboration and occasional client visits, with a requirement to relocate to the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) area before the start date. Relocation assistance is not provided. The position requires regular on-site attendance, with specific requirements for working at EWN's headquarters in Decatur, Texas until September 30, 2026, and then in Westlake, Texas from October 1, 2026, onwards (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays onsite, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays). Regular onsite participation is considered an essential function of this role. Employment visa sponsorship is not supported.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Five (5) or more years of product management experience with ownership of significant product initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience coaching, mentoring, or managing Product Managers and/or Associate Product Managers
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable customer and business outcomes through product leadership
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across Engineering, Design, and go-to-market functions
  • Strong customer discovery, prioritization, and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level communication
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and lead through ambiguity
  • Experience working within Agile product development environments
  • Willingness to relocate to the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) area before the start date.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and business outcomes for an assigned product portfolio.
  • Define the problems worth solving based on customer needs, market opportunities, and business objectives.
  • Make prioritization decisions with conviction and clearly communicate tradeoffs across teams and stakeholders.
  • Define and measure success through outcome-based metrics tied to customer and business impact.
  • Partner with the Chief Product Officer on pricing, packaging, and monetization decisions.
  • Lead a small product-aligned pod of Product Managers and/or Associate Product Managers.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members to strengthen product management capabilities and career growth.
  • Establish clear expectations and accountability for product outcomes and execution.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and talent development efforts within the Product organization.
  • Model product leadership practices and create a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Lead customer discovery efforts including interviews, support interactions, market research, competitive analysis, and win/loss reviews.
  • Translate customer and market insights into strategic product direction and roadmap priorities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows, pain points, and emerging opportunities.
  • Partner directly with customers to validate assumptions and guide investment decisions.
  • Utilize modern AI tools across discovery, customer research, prototyping, analysis, narrative development, and delivery support.
  • Leverage AI to improve decision-making, efficiency, and product outcomes.
  • Establish best practices for AI-enabled product management across the team.
  • Evaluate opportunities to incorporate AI capabilities into EWN's products and portfolio strategy.
  • Drive alignment across Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Support teams.
  • Lead through influence to ensure successful execution of product initiatives.
  • Participate in strategic planning, portfolio reviews, and cross-functional decision-making.
  • Communicate product strategy, outcomes, and recommendations to executives, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Support key customer engagements and strategic business initiatives.
