As the product leader for Spark Platform, you will define and execute the product strategy and commercial model across compute modes to deliver a unified control plane, optimize fleet economics, and streamline go-to-market SKUs. Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
5 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within databases, analytics, big data, or a related area.
Experience utilizing AI productivity tools to streamline business or development workflows.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
7 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
7 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
Proven track record leading product strategy and commercialization for distributed compute systems, cloud data platforms, or managed open-source frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark).
Track record of building AI-assisted admin experiences.
Strong developer-centric focus to identify pain points and build intuitive AI experiences, with demonstrated ability to deliver compelling technical presentations to executive leadership and external customers.

Responsibilities

Own product requirement documents (PRDs) by overseeing collaboration with partner teams (e.g., engineers, PgMs, UX) during product design.
Own and oversee definition of product roadmaps.
Shape the multi-year technical roadmap of the Spark Platform and the unified control plane.
Pioneer AI-Native Operations to transform the administrative plane through intelligent telemetry and autonomous runtime tuning.
Partner with engineering to optimize fleet economics and deliver industry best availability while strengthening fleet-wide unit margins.
