Group Product Manager, Ads Product & Platform

ServiceTitanUS CA Remote, CA
$185,300 - $247,800

About The Position

ServiceTitan is seeking a Group Product Manager to lead their Ads product and platform. This role involves end-to-end ownership, from campaign creation and budget management to tracking infrastructure, attribution, and measurement. The position is highly strategic, focusing on how tens of thousands of home-service businesses can discover, acquire, and retain customers through paid media. It sits at the intersection of performance marketing and AI, with a mandate to disrupt the traditional ads stack with AI-native features and establish ServiceTitan as an authority on AI Engine Optimization (AEO) for the trades. The role also includes managing a senior Product Manager with potential for team growth.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of product management experience, with significant tenure in ads, martech, or performance marketing platforms.
  • Deep SaaS background; experience in vertical SaaS is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record shipping sophisticated ads or marketing technology products at scale (campaign management, programmatic, attribution, or analytics).
  • Prior people management experience; ability to coach and develop Product Managers.
  • Expert-level fluency in the current digital advertising landscape: Google Ads (search, PMax, LSA), Meta, programmatic display, and the attribution ecosystem (GA4, third-party MMPs, server-side tagging).
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI Engine Optimization concepts.
  • Comfortable reading data pipelines, reviewing API specs, and translating between business requirements and technical implementation.
  • Strong quantitative instincts; ability to define success metrics and interpret data.
  • Experience disrupting products with AI-driven capabilities.
  • Ability to hold strong opinions loosely and adapt based on data.
  • Ability to thrive in domains undergoing rapid change with incomplete maps.
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to make complexity legible to any audience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in home services, field services, or adjacent trades verticals.
  • Familiarity with Local Services Ads (LSA) and Google Guarantee / screened provider programs.
  • Background in building advertiser-facing analytics or reporting products.
  • Experience working with clean rooms (Google ADH, AWS Clean Rooms) or privacy-preserving measurement frameworks.
  • Prior experience at a company that monetizes through an ads marketplace (two-sided platform).

Responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle of the ads platform: campaign management UI, budget pacing, creative management, and audience tooling.
  • Define the roadmap for ad tracking and measurement, including pixel/tag infrastructure, server-side event pipelines, and clean-room integrations.
  • Drive multi-touch attribution strategy across paid search, LSA, display, and emerging AI-powered placements.
  • Architect integrations with Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft Advertising, and category-specific ad networks relevant to home services.
  • Lead ServiceTitan’s AEO (AI Engine Optimization) strategy to help customers be discovered and recommended by AI-powered search engines, voice assistants, and LLM-driven referral surfaces.
  • Identify and ship AI-native capabilities within the ads platform, such as predictive bid optimization, AI-generated ad copy, smart budget allocation, and automated campaign health scoring.
  • Stay ahead of the rapidly evolving landscape of AI in search and local discovery.
  • Define and own the measurement framework, including ROAS, CPL, LTV-adjusted ROI, and incrementality testing across channels.
  • Build reporting surfaces that provide customers with a single source of truth for organic and paid performance.
  • Partner with Data Engineering to ensure event collection, identity resolution, and attribution models are privacy-compliant and future-proof.
  • Manage and mentor a PM team, including a senior PM, setting clear goals and fostering their growth.
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Go-To-Market teams to ensure quality and speed in product delivery.
  • Represent Ads in executive reviews, translating complex technical trade-offs into clear business narratives.
