About The Position

StackAdapt is seeking a Group Manager, Video Production to elevate the brand's visual storytelling through video. This role is focused on creating exceptional, memorable video content, ranging from high-quality brand commercials to compelling customer stories. The successful candidate will define video standards at StackAdapt and build a scalable video production system that combines world-class storytelling, creative ambition, and efficient production. The ultimate goal is to increase brand recognition, recall, and understanding of StackAdapt's customers, people, technology, and ideas.

Requirements

Equal parts storyteller, producer, creative thinker, and craftsperson.
Exceptional creative taste with an understanding of memorable content.
Portfolio of exceptional commercial, brand, documentary, or customer storytelling work.
Experience managing productions from initial idea through final delivery.
Creative ambition and production expertise to deliver national TV/CTV-caliber advertising.
Strong instincts for storytelling, casting, directing, cinematography, editing, music, sound, and pacing.
Ability to uncover compelling human stories from customers, employees, and executives.
Experience managing agencies, directors, production companies, freelancers, budgets, schedules, and complex shoots.
Ability to work on both big-budget productions and fast, scrappy projects.
Strong understanding of video performance across various channels (TV/CTV, YouTube, social, digital, events, emerging channels).
Willingness to challenge conventional B2B marketing and push for ambitious, entertaining, and culturally relevant work.
Experience managing full-time direct reports.

Responsibilities

Create Brand-Defining Work: Concept, produce, and deliver Super Bowl-quality commercials and brand campaigns. Partner with Creative and Brand teams to develop breakthrough ideas that build awareness and make StackAdapt memorable. Translate brand positioning into emotional, entertaining, human, and highly shareable stories. Push StackAdapt beyond traditional B2B and technology marketing conventions.
Reinvent the Customer Testimonial: Transform traditional B2B case studies into engaging content. Create customer films that are beautifully produced and creatively compelling, potentially outperforming customer brand commercials. Uncover human stories behind results, highlighting people, ideas, campaigns, and business impact. Make customers the heroes while demonstrating StackAdapt's role in their success.
Raise the Bar for Video: Establish new standards for cinematography, storytelling, editing, sound, motion, and production quality. Develop a range of video content including flagship commercials, cinematic customer stories, product films, executive storytelling, social video, event content, and brand documentaries. Determine when major productions are needed versus when a small team with a great idea can succeed. Continually challenge the organization on brand representation.
Build a Scalable Video Engine: Increase both the quality and quantity of video produced. Develop repeatable formats, production systems, templates, and workflows for faster, high-quality output. Build and manage a network of creative partners (directors, production companies, editors, etc.). Create content ecosystems from major productions for various channels (CTV, digital, social, events, sales, product marketing, owned channels).
