About The Position
We are hiring Group Leaders (Camp Counselors) for our Summer 2026 program in the Flushing, Queens area. This role involves leading activities, supporting children, and ensuring a fun and safe environment. The pay rate is $18/hr. The position starts mid-June 2026 and operates Monday-Friday between 8 AM and 4 PM, with potential for some evenings and weekends.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with kids (school, camp, etc.)
- A skill or interest (sports, arts, academics, etc.)
- Organized, reliable, and able to multitask
Responsibilities
- Lead games, projects & group activities
- Help with homework and learning time
- Supervise kids and take attendance
- Support behavior and keep things running smoothly
