About The Position

The Group Leader is a front-line supervisor in the organization, leading a critical process cleaning team in a manufacturing plant. This role utilizes the company's systems to manage the safety, quality, and delivery of task work. The Group Leader works alongside the team to identify ways to perform the work safer, easier, and faster. The role requires an authentic approach and skilled communication, delivering results by embracing the team, getting their contributions, and providing timely solutions for both the team and clients.

Requirements

• At least one year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, logistics environment, facility maintenance/management, retail supervision or food service/restaurant supervision required.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent team builder and visionary leader
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate

Nice To Haves

• Lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, 6-Sigma or continuous improvement are desired.
• Automotive paint shop experience, industrial process cleaning, or janitorial supervision desired
