After School Group Leader
About The Position
AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students. As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you will help shape meaningful before and after school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive. This role offers valuable experience working with children and collaborating with a team. We are seeking an early learning professional who enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment, takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely, and is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)

- Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
- Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed
- Students studying: Education, Child Development, Psychology, Social Work, Recreation or Youth Development
Responsibilities
- Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)
- Make child safety the top priority at all times
- Keep the space clean and organized
- Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
- Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff
