Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Read and write. Good math and computer skills. Read prints. Remember, reason, and analyze.
Per 8-10 hr. shift (stand up to 6 hrs., walk up to 3 hrs., sit up to 1 hr.), occasionally (bend, stoop, kneel, climb, reach above shoulder level, balance and push/pull).
Occasional lifting and carrying (occasionally from 0 - to 50 lbs.).
Must be able to see, hear, talk, have good binocular vision, use feet to operate foot pedals, work at unprotected heights up to 30 ft., do simple and firm grasping with both hands.
Must be able to work in a noisy environment that includes exposure to weld smoke, dust, vibration, battery acid, solvents, and oil.
Must be able to safely operate lift trucks and safely work in areas of lift truck traffic.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Not a position for which sponsorship will be provided. Individuals with temporary visas or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience operating a lift truck preferred.
Good understanding of and experience with inventory control.

Responsibilities

Act as a working Group Leader. Assist supervisor in directing and coordinating daily activities and operations in assigned work area, including planning and inventory control.
Lead daily Tier 1 meeting.
Support Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement activities and initiatives.
Help verify and reconcile actual line inventory and coordinate with Production Control to resolve discrepancies.
Enter inventory into control system. Receive in and issue out materials. Make inventory adjustments. Transfer parts among warehouses and locations.
Maintain inventory accuracy. Analyze data to make appropriate decisions concerning accuracy or status of inventory at various locations.
Coordinate and train current and new team members on all processes.
Process replenishment orders.
Process rejected material appropriately.
Use lift truck to move raw materials to proper locations according to production orders. Conduct daily pre-operational safety checks on lift trucks.
Receive materials and processes per the attached paperwork.
Prepare shipments with packing slips to ensure proper and safe delivery.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
