About The Position

Lennox is seeking a Group Leader I to monitor, guide, and work with a team to meet production targets. This role ensures work is completed and tracked according to plant production goals, instructs and trains new team members, and monitors parts and materials within the department, expediting when needed. The Group Leader I provides leadership in applying lean manufacturing and safety best practices and applies IT solutions as needed for tracking, monitoring, and documenting.

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requires 1-3 years related experience.
Thorough working knowledge of contemporary manufacturing and distribution processes.
Able to read tape measure, perform calculations, and write legibly.
Reads and interprets specifications and assembly schematics.
Basic ability to effectively coach and influence others while socializing/reinforcing the appropriate functional/operational direction.
Effective verbal communication.
Displays sound judgment and leadership.
Working knowledge of IT solutions.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
