About The Position

A Group Leader (Recycling) for Lennox AES at our Tallassee, AL location is a frontline leader responsible for leading and coordinating a team of recycling/reclamation workers. They play a key role in achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a culture of safety and efficiency within the team and facility.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Monitors, guides, and works with team to meet production targets.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Able to work with a positive attitude and work well with others.
  • Demonstrates safety awareness for a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of production processes, resource allocation, leadership technique, quality control and improvement, and safety standards.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines or business demands.
  • High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 years related experience.
  • Displays sound judgment and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Help enforce safety protocols and guidelines to create a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Provide training to team members on production processes, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Operate assigned machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Supervise, coach, and lead a team of recycling/reclamation workers.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to maximize team performance.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating daily production schedules to meet output targets.
  • Monitor and adjust workflow to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
  • Communicate production goals, targets, and expectations to the team.
  • Address and resolve production-related issues promptly.
  • Act as a liaison between recycling/reclamation workers and higher management, conveying feedback and concerns.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team and individual performance.
