About The Position

Lennox is seeking a Group Leader I (Quality) to join their team. This role involves monitoring, guiding, and working with a team to meet production targets, ensuring work is completed and tracked according to plant production goals. The Group Leader will also instruct and train new team members, monitor parts and materials within the department, and expedite when necessary to ensure supply. Additionally, they will provide leadership in applying lean manufacturing and safety best practices, and apply IT solutions as needed for tracking, monitoring, and documenting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years related experience.
• Thorough working knowledge of contemporary manufacturing and distribution processes.
• Able to read tape measure, perform calculations, and write legibly.
• Reads and interprets specifications and assembly schematics.
• Basic ability to effectively coach and influence others while socializing/reinforcing the appropriate functional/operational direction.
• Effective verbal communication.
• Displays sound judgment and leadership.
• Working knowledge of IT solutions.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
