About The Position
Our Assistant Group Leaders and Group Leaders help create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children in our school-age before and after school programs. Staff lead games, facilitate hands-on activities, support homework time, and help children build friendships and confidence. This is more than just a job. It's an opportunity to inspire young minds, develop leadership skills, and gain valuable experience in education, recreation, youth development, and childcare.
Requirements
- Group Leaders: Must be at least 17 years old and meet one of the following New Hampshire Child Care Licensing requirements: Have a minimum of 3 college credits in Education or a related field; OR Have at least 600 hours of experience working with children; OR Have 5 years of parenting experience
- Assistant Group Leaders: Must be at least 15 years old
- Enjoy working with children
- Be enthusiastic, dependable, and positive
- Serve as a role model while assisting with daily activities and program operations

Responsibilities
- Lead group games and enrichment activities
- Assist with arts and crafts, STEM projects, and outdoor play

- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants
- Work collaboratively with fellow staff and site leadership
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for children and families
