Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• At least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents and production schedules.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree or technical certification preferred.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of production operators within work cell 404, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Monitor daily production schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks, adhering to Jabil’s manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, equipment issues, and quality deviations promptly.
• Conduct regular quality checks and implement corrective actions to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.
• Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate production records, including output, scrap rates, and labor utilization.
• Communicate effectively with other departments (e.g., engineering, quality, maintenance) to address operational challenges and improve processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
• Perform performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
