The coordinator will explain policies, accommodate special requests, answer questions about property facilities and services, and use sales techniques to maximize revenue. They will also communicate information regarding VIP reservations, input and access data in the reservation system, and resolve challenges by communicating with appropriate departments. Key responsibilities include overseeing the accuracy of room blocks and reservations, inputting group rooming lists, revising room blocks, maintaining organized files, and setting up billing accounts according to Accounting policies. The role also requires adherence to all company policies and procedures, maintaining a professional appearance, protecting company assets, and providing excellent guest service according to company standards. This includes welcoming and acknowledging guests, anticipating needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and thanking guests with appreciation. Communication skills are essential, including speaking clearly and professionally, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately, and using appropriate telephone etiquette. The position also involves developing positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and listening and responding appropriately to employee concerns, while complying with quality assurance standards and visually verifying information.
