About The Position

Stepping Out, a division of Options Residential, Inc., provides Community Residential Services to adults with Prader-Willi syndrome in 4-person group homes in Hastings, Minnesota. We are seeking a Program Coordinator to lead one of our program sites. This role is responsible for the daily operations of a specific program location, ensuring Person-Centered service delivery and promoting an inclusive environment that adheres to Stepping Out's philosophy and programs. The Program Coordinator will provide direct care to residents and supervise Direct Support Professional Staff at their location.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in a field related to human services, and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; OR
  • An associate degree in a field related to human services, and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; OR
  • A diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited post-secondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; OR
  • A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities and four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications of Program Supervisor I or Designated Coordinator/Manager level as defined by the Department of Human Services 245D license standards.
  • A valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
  • Must be scheduled 30+ hours per week to be benefits-eligible.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and training in Prader-Willi syndrome is strongly preferred.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the daily operations of one specific program location.
  • Promote Person-Centered service delivery.
  • Implement, promote, monitor, and create an inclusive environment.
  • Assure that core Stepping Out philosophy and programs are adhered to consistently by all staff.
  • Work directly with residents, providing direct care.
  • Supervise the Direct Support Professional Staff at that location.
