Requirements

  • Complete criminal background check.
  • Name checked in the registries (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities).
  • Pass drug testing.
  • Provide proof of education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
  • Provide proof of employment history or references (if required).
  • If position requires driving: Provide proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.

  • Experience in a group home setting.
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual, developmental disabilities, mental health, and substance use challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise staff in a group home setting.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment for individuals with intellectual, developmental disabilities, mental health, and/or substance use needs.
  • Create opportunities for personal outcomes for the people served.
  • Provide high-quality care to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
  • Provide behavioral health services to support people with mental health and substance use needs.
  • Provide services for those who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
