Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months after permit
  • Intermediate & Learner’s Permits do NOT qualify
  • Reliable and registered vehicle with proof of insurance used to transport clients
  • If younger than 21 YO, High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist people with their personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, toileting)
  • Support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs
  • Help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities
  • Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
