About The Position

The Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for instructing safe and effective exercise classes. This role requires maintaining all mandatory education certifications, following all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures, and understanding and following all policies, procedures, and standards. The instructor must demonstrate knowledge of the Elite brand and model behavior in accordance with the Elite mission statement. They will facilitate all member requests or forward them to a manager and maintain a professional disposition at all times. The role also involves following all club/facility policies and procedures, as well as those in the Employee Handbook. The description of duties may be subject to change or alteration at any time.

Requirements

Maintain valid CPR Certification
Nationally Accredited Aerobic Certification AFAA, ACE or NASM preferred.
Valid Yoga or Pilates Certification also acceptable
Zumba Certified

Nice To Haves

Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels
Strong customer service skills
Good verbal communication
